Welcome to Columbia Unit School District #4 where education is second to none!  CUSD#4 is located just minutes away from St. Louis and serves approximately 2100 students ranging from preschool through twelve grade.  The district operates four school facilities:  Eagleview Elementary (Preschool through Grade 1), Parkview School (Grades 2-4), Columbia Middle School (Grades 5-8), and Columbia High School (Grades 9-12.)  The community of Columbia strives on high expectations and a rich tradition of excellence and “home town” pride.

The school board employs only the best teachers and staff who work hard to provide quality experiences for our students.   Columbia is known for academic excellence which is proven by our student achievement results and the high caliber of students who graduate from our school system. The district offers a wide array of academic and extra-curricular programs to meet the needs of diverse student interests and ability levels.  From a national award winning Student Council to three time state cheerleading champions, the district builds from a strong and cohesive core program that extends beyond the school day.

The school year is filled with high expectations for not only academic excellence, but also for maintaining high standards of character.  As your superintendent, I can assure you that I will lead the district toward reaching optimal levels of performance.  With parents, students, and teachers working together as a team, student success will soar.

It is our hope that this website provides a snapshot of the great things happening in our school district – from providing general information to celebrating our student and school accomplishments.   The community of Columbia truly “bleeds blue” and has always fully supported the school district in its pursuit for excellence and continual improvement.    Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a question or would like to share an idea that might benefit our students.

Best wishes to a great school year!
