Student Council is a student-based civic organization designed to represent the ideas and goals of the student population, help promote school spirit and leadership among students.  Each Student Council representative must complete and submit an application packet before they can run for office and create a campaign.  Students from each grade level are elected in a general election by members of their own grade.  Candidates not elected as Student Council representatives may serve in the volunteer corps of the Student Council called the Student Spirit. Members of both the Student Council and Student Spirit organizations must demonstrate good citizenship and represent the middle school through their positive behavior. Under the direction of the Student Council Advisor, they meet to discuss school issues and to formulate plans for school-wide activities.
