    About Me:

My husband's name is Tim. He is the president of Perma Jack, a structural repair and waterproofing company based in St. Louis.  I have two children named Mitch (University of Illinois graduate) and Abbie (Missouri State University). Mitch completed both Business Management and Business Marketing degrees in January of 2018, taking only 3 1/2 years.  He is employed at Monsanto in St. Louis and recently married  his high school sweetheart, Jessica Altadonna, from Waterloo.  Abbie is in her third year of college and is working on a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.  My hobbies include exploring local venues with my family, attending sporting events, taking care of my flower gardens, reading, traveling, walking, swimming, and spending time with my family.

    Mission for the Class:

It is my mission that all classroom activities should occur in an environment conducive to learning. All input should be valued, the fear of failure non-existent, and all efforts nurtured and supported. Positive reinforcement will be utilized in order for all students to have the desire to strive to reach their potential. The numerous ways that students learn must be addressed throughout the curriculum in ways that allow for creativity and an openness to learning. Manipulatives and subject matter integration need to be put to use in order to help students to interpret and relate to pertinent information. Cooperative learning as well as situations where the student-to-teacher ratio is reduced should take place in order to provide optimum learning situations. Flexibility, commitment, enthusiasm, knowledge, and a love of learning will be apparent at all times.
