    Dear Parents and Guardians,

Students at Eagleview Elementary School are reviewing the Eagleview 3R’s and behavior expectations on a regular basis throughout the school year.

Eagleview 3R’s: Respect Yourself, Respect Others, and Respect Your School.

Our school has developed a code of conduct chart of specific rules to help students know exactly how they can show respect, responsibility, and safety in all settings of the school building. This chart, entitled “Eagleview 3R’s Matrix” can be found on our Eagleview website, in the Character Education Section. Please review these expectations with your child on a regular basis.

Tomorrow, on Monday, January 14th, the entire school will host a Eagleview Boot Camp Refresher. Students are encouraged to wear their Eagleview blue spirit-shirt with a long sleeve shirt underneath, or their spirit sweatshirt, to show their support.  We will also be encouraging any Columbia or Eagleview gear on Friday’s for spirit day. During Boot Camp, students will review the specific rules and expectations throughout the school.  It should be a fun and positive way to review and practice our code of conduct. Students will also continue to participate in monthly activities with their character buddy homeroom to work on our monthly character trait.  We will also be continuing our character education yard signs for those students who are great examples of each character trait.

We believe this day will assist our students in achieving greater success in our school community. Throughout the rest of the year, we will be celebrating students that display and follow the code of conduct chart, leading all our students to have a successful year here at Eagleview!

    Respectfully,

Mrs. Becherer, Mr. Dugan & The Eagleview Teachers and Staff
